I did a loop hike on the Calaveras Fault Trail and Sierra Vista Trail, in search of new WERDAVE caches, when I discovered this spot. I was surprised that it wasn't already marked. It's a very large multi-trunk bay tree with a large shady area underneath, just perfect for taking a break on a hot sunny day. If you do the whole loop that I did, you'll cover a bit under five miles and drop about 600 feet from the parking lot on Sierra Road.
You're looking for a quite small camo-taped small glass jar, with a bit of room for small trade items.
