Old 69 Traditional Cache

A park and grab in a peanut butter jar.  Do not access from highway, take Stevens road to the south and take a right to the dead end.

Not so long ago this was part of highway 69. Before the Mt. Vernon bypass, I had to drive to work from St. Philip area to New Harmony THROUGH Mt. Vernon and wind my way around 69 to New Harmony.  The bypass and the straightening of the road in a few places made the commute much quicker and safer for residents. 

  During school hours, my son's school bus turns around here twice a day so be alert, besides that mostly dog walkers.  While you're here, check out Lonesome Dove 3 nearby. Enjoy!
