Geocache Description:

A short walk out of Skipton, up the most noticable hill and providing fantastic views from the top.

Parking is either as suggested or at a local Pub just up Grassington Road from the roundabout.

Walk up the lane from the suggested parking and bear right when you spot the bridleway, which should take you up a grassy path, through a gate and onto the moors.

Once you reach the signpost, bear left to the gate and follow the track down and up until it turns back on itself to head to the top.

When I placed this cache, it was in the middle of a storm, so be careful of the wind! The views across to Gargrave are stunning on a good day though and it's worth spending a little while here.

The cache is hidden just up from a rock that has some amazing weathering on it. I coudn't get a good photo when I was here due to the weather and the wrong camera, but hopefully someone will add a good one soon!
