There are moose in the area but we never were lucky enough to spot one. We have spotted deer, fox, bear and wild turkeys! Now it's your turn to spot the elusive moose in Moose Marsh. Good luck!
This cache is suited for someone wanting a bit more of an adventure but one that isn't too difficult and kid friendly. Your journey to this cache begins off Muskoka road #6 (Housey Rapids Road) to Frank Cooper Trail (formerly Westview Subdivision Road) which is a single lane dirt road winding up and down for about 6km to your point of cache entry. Please take your time and be careful watching for oncoming vehicles. You will need to keep to the left when the road forks a few times. Follow signs to Pine Ridge Road. When you arrive at your entry point park your car at a spot to the side so others can get by. Your entry point is a rock ridge which you want to walk on. The cache is camouflaged well so have fun, enjoy the view and happy caching.
CONGRATULATIONS to andreanel & koroleva being the first to find!
