Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden along the Sacramento River in SW Sutter County. Be sure to wear long pants and sturdy shoes for your expedition. A jungle safari can be kind of rugged. There is a stamp (and pad) in the container, or you may use a stamp of your own. To locate the cache, simply follow the directions below.

1. At the starting point, you should be facing west on Acme Road, at the posted coordinates.
2. Drive .3 miles west to a "T" intersection. Turn left.
3. Drive south...past a white pipe-gate on your right, then park at a second white pipe-gate a half mile further down the road. You have reached the river.
4. Hike north on the levee for a quarter mile. You will come to a large, lengthy brush pile on your left.
5. Walk down to the pile and pass thru a hiatus near the north end. Proceed WNW for about 15 or 20 yards thru the weeds until you find a pathway that goes west.
6. You will know you're in the right place when you pass between two charred black stumps.
7. Veer north on the path and watch out for a sink hole on your left (just past a blackened dead tree) that has clippings in it. Stepping on/in the hole could result in an ankle sprain or worse.
8. Continue north on the path, ducking under limbs and vines and crawling when necessary.
9. After about 50 yards you will come to a four-trunk oak on your right. Time to climb...
