A cache we placed to celebrate several memories. Of course, you'll decide whether or not to seek this hide's smiley. It's not a park and grab by any means so be careful if you hunt. Have fun, be safe! There is room for small trade items. Cache is located in Marshall county Oklahoma.
At the north west end of this ridge is the remains of the Dougnut Fishing Hole. First constructed in 1951, it provided "indoor" fishing. Lake Texoma had only began water impoundment in spring of 1944. It was enclosed and had swamp coolers with concessions. Open 24 hours and for minimal fees, one could fish in the doughnut hole. The business lasted until the mid to late 80's. A few remnants of the Doughnut fishing hole remain here for you to explore. The area is visited by fishermen so be stealthy in the presence of muggles. Certainly some CITO efforts would be a good deed here.
Cache starts off with a FTF prize and TB. Log as a discover or grab it and move it along.
