The cache was meant to be found while visiting Collins Park. Unfortunately, since the time it was placed in 2002 some of the land has been sold off and is being developed. There are now two ways to get to it - walk south on the bikepath (along Moe Rd) from Collins Park and enter at the trail entrance across from the Shen Campus OR enter at the Parking Coords trailhead by the Corporate Plaza (Rt 146)
There is a new sign that was added to the Shen trail that states no tresspassing during or after-school hours - these are the hours the students use the trail for track and x-country running practice. Please adhere to the signs
Cache is relatively easy as the spot was chosen by 5 children ages 3 - 11 - an easy hike for a family.
Although it can be done in the winter, snow will make it a harder find.
Cache is a 30 cam ammo can and has lots of fun things for the kids and adults alike and the park offers a baseball field, grills and a playground for the kids.
The cache was given a 2 only because trees have come down over the trail that you need to walk around, under or in one case, climb over (very easy) and, depending upon the weather, you could get a little mucky. There is a small area where it may be a little muddy, and if it has been wet - even a little swampy - you can get a little muddy or do some bushwacking to go around it - the kids like to do it in flip flops and take the mud route. The park and the trails are beautiful - enjoy a day at the park!
