Castellaneta Marina è un bellissimo villaggio turistico sulla costa ionica a 20 minuti di auto da Taranto. Sono 3.000 ville tutte diverse immerse in una parte di pineta lunga 25km. La pineta è cosi rigogliosa che si fa fatica a vedere anche su Google Maps. Per preservare la pineta non si possono tagliare alberi e quando lo si fa, con il permesso comunale, è necessario ripiantare subito un pino giovane. La spiaggia è lunga anch’essa decine di chilometri ed è composta di una sottile sabbia dorata che a seconda dell’inclinazione del sole va dal bianco al marrone chiaro. Il mare è degradante ed estremamente piacevole.
A 23 mag la cache ha bisogno di manutenzione ma non riesco a sistemarla.
magari il prossimo geocacher ha modo di lasciare un nuovo contenitore?
Castellaneta Marina is a wonderful touristic village on the Ionian coast, 20 minutes drive from Taranto. 3.000 different villas lie in a part of a 25km mediterrenean pine forest. The forest is so luxurious that if you check it out on Google Maps, you'll find it hard to spot the villas. In order to preserve the forest it is not possible to cut trees and if you do so, with the permission of the authorities, you are required to replace it with a young tree. The beach is tens of kms long and is made of thin golden sand that depending on the sun colours itself from white to light brown. The sea is shallow and extremely relaxing.
