West City Park Traditional Cache

Small cache just off the beaten path which is just off the paved path.  :)

The City of Peru has done a significant amount of work to update this park in recent years.  The most recent of the updates is the connection of the Nickle Plate Trail to the park.  The walkway you will see on your way to the cache isn't connected but is still a nice walk.  It goes around the park and comes out on the other side, try it out!  

Long time cachers may remember the existence of an ISQ cache just a little farther along the bank.  There is a memorial marker you may want to check out just a little further to the east.  Placed in honor of a man who died in the river way back when.  If you have reached this marker without finding the cache, you've gone too far.
