This series of caches has been placed to celebrate each Scout Jamboree held in Australia. It has been hidden to coincide with the 24th Australian Jamboree, being held at Catartact Scout Park during January of 2016. A Jamboree is a gathering of Scouts, Youth Members of the Scout Association aged between 11 and 15. They are held every 3 years and run for around 10 nights. Around 10,000 people attend. For many, attending a Jamboree will be the highlight of their time in Scouts.
The 2nd Australian Scout Jamboree was held in 1938 in Bradfield, NSW. It was part of the 150th anniversary of the landing of the First Fleet in Australia.

The container is located in one of the hiding holes in "the cave".
