Weel the wee Highland Haggi had fled the pairty
They rolled in the dubs and they got affa clairty
Muckle tae see here and muckle tae do
Bit fan they gaed in the maze, they hidnae a clue!
They giggled and ran, they just loved the maze
To turn left or turn right, there wis ower mony ways!
Bit they got tae the middle and aff they did run
Twa sweet wee Haggi in search o mair fun
Then the roses! The roses! The sweet bonnie flooers
They could hae sniffed them and sniffed them for ooers and ooers
Bit heymin! Fit’s that!? Seesaws and swings!
An’ climbing frames, chutes and ither fun things!
But they played ower lang and it soon got dark!
And the two wee Haggi were still aff in the park!;
There were mony Haggis farewells wi bosies and kissing
That naeb’dy noticed the hagglets were missing!
Now our Haggi played near by here
When you find the cache... gie us a cheer!
Translation: Hazel and Hamish the young Haggi had ran off from the grand Haggis picnic because they didn’t like one of the old Haggi singing. They rolled about in the mud and got very dirty. There was so much to see and do and first they went to the Maze (Scotland's oldest maze) After they got to the centre, they went to see the rose garden where they saw the Piper Alpha memorial. When they left, they spotted the childrens playpark where they spent so long playing that the rest of the Haggis clan were all cuddling eachother and kissing goodbye. It was so busy that no one noticed that Hamish and Hazel were missing!
