Geocache Description:

Build in 1791 by the East India Company, as Country Residence for the Governor of St Helena Island, Plantations House stands tall and proud within the Forestry Heartland.  It has however been made famous by the resident tortoise, known as "Jonathan", who is regarded one of the world's oldest (if not The Oldest) tamed tortoises. 


Peaceful, tranqual in the Valley Below, lazy old Jonathan in Plantation's Garden Roam.

Resident on the Hill Above, a treasure awaits within the Forestry Rough.
