As a kid, I grew up with all sorts of pets – cats, dogs, a rabbit, hamsters, rats, mice, fish, a lizard, hermit crabs, newts – I even raised pigs for 4-H, housesat birds and snakes, and helped out on my aunt’s horse boarding farm! I have always loved animals, and one of the many things that I love about geocaching are the encounters that I get to have with them while on the search, from the whole herd of cows who came to watch me search futilely for a pill bottle that hadn’t been found on a farm road in over a year, or the sweet little cat who followed me around La Petite Gemme Prairie while doing an earth cache, or the dog who stopped following her owner on the FHT to come walk a mile with me instead!
This cache is dedicated to all our animal companions who bring smiles to our faces! This hide is so easy, they could probably find it for you! Cache is an ammo can and is starting out its life packed full of fun and toys for critters, as well as a trophy for the FTF!
