RO: Legenda Panaghiei este, poate una din cele mai fascinante legende ale Ceahlaului. Se spune ca Panaghia ar fi fost o fata de o frumusete rara, facuta din inima si sufletul lui Dumnezeu. Ursitoarele, ca sa o feresca de invidia oamenilor, au adapostit-o in pestera pusnicului Ghedeon.
Crescand, privirea ei intalni pe cea a Soarelui si acesta se indragosti nebuneste de ea. Atat de mare-i fu dragostea ca Soarele se abatu zile in sir din drumul sau pentru a o mangaia cu razele sale de lumina. Afland aceasta, Dumnezeu se infurie foarte tare si trimise norii sa acopere stralucirea soarelui iar Panaghia fu atinsa de un dor nespus, varsand lacrimi amare de suferinta. Dumnezeu, vazandu-i suferinta, o transforma in stana de piatra. Si tot de atunci, mai spune legenda, sufletul ei si inima ei au ramas vii, cautand permanent imbratisarea razelor soarelui.

But The Sun saw her and fall crazy in love with her.God found out and send clouds to cover The Sun for days.Panaghia couldn't stop crying and after some time God transformed her in a rock.The legend says that her heart remained alive and it's still looking for the Sun's hugs.
