This cycle track is a nice ride along the old railway line. For those that need some off road fun there is a little mountain bike track further along near the letterbox cache: Gettin' Air! Mail by Rail! GC46N20. There is also a bigger mountain bike trail one for the more adventurous further towards Kaikohe. Continue on and you'll come to a fantastic tunnel (and yes another cache GC2XN7G.) Closer to the Kaikohe end there is a neat cycle playground.
This cache brings you to a pretty little waterfall. If you want to go below to see it there is a path that leads to a style. Beware it is tricky terrain and there is lots of gorse. There was once a track but it has not been maintained - secateurs would be handy if you decide to tackle it. On your way down why not hunt for the original cache (GC3A9XZ) of CHLYBN's. It is still in-place (9/9/15) but it has been disabled.
I would not go for this cache after heavy rain or at night.
