On National Bake Cookies Day / Answer the Telephone Like Buddy the Elf Day, in celebration of the upcoming solstice, we're hosting a post National Maple Syrup Day / International Talk with a Fake British Accent Day, pre National Flashlight Day / Look on the Bright Side Day event.
Sweet campfire!

What? There will be tasty homemade cookies (baked by a real life Elf), a huge pot of hot chocolate, and a warm, Elf-built, well-stoked campfire for your enjoyment.
There will also be:
- Flashlight inspections and tune ups.
- Fake British accent critiques and tips.
- Nummy maply treats.
- Random outbursts of Monty Python lines and songs.
- Silly... erm... we mean FUN games.
- The usual weirdness that surrounds the Elf.
And then? Those who are interested can join the BFL crew for some night caching, providing an opportunity for field testing of flashlights.
What to bring (almost all optional):
- Your favourite home-baked cookies to share. (Note: Please, do not bring store bought cookies, as it is "Bake Cookes Day", not "Buy Cookies Day".)
- Your own poky stick thing, for roasting bannock, marshmallows, wieners, and other stuff on the campfire.
- A sense of humour and willingness to have fun. (Note: This one is NOT optional.)
