The Petersham Town Hall is a distinctive landmark of the area. It is one of few remaining Art Deco Town Halls remaining in use in Sydney in its original condition. It was built in 1938 and it replaced an earlier Town Hall on the site (the previous one being built in 1882). It is now used for functions rather than for administration or meeting. A modern Council chamber was built across the road. Some of the scenes from the Australian movie "Strictly Ballroom" were filmed in the Hall.

The cache is at: S 33° 53.XXX E 151° 09.YYY
.
At the left hand side of the front of the Town Hall, there is a memorial to people needlessly murdered in Bali in what became known as the "Bail Bombing". There are some digits on the plaque. Add the last three digits to 636 to get XXX. At the right hand side of the front of the Town Hall is a memorial to people killed in workplace accidents. Add the last three digits to 446 to get YYY. There is a foundation stone on the right hand side of the building. The numbers on that stone are not relevant to working out the location of the cache.
.
While you are walking to the cache, take a moment to remember those that have lost their lives needlessly.
.
GZ and the cache are both on busy streets, so some caution is warranted with young kids.

The hint is very specific. Don't look unless you want to!
