Violet is the color of amethyst, lavender and beautyberries. It gets its name from the violet flower. Violet and purple look very similar, but violet is a true color with its own wavelength on the spectrum of visible light, while the color purple is a composite color made by combining blue and red.
If you think you are looking for an amethyst, a lavender plant or a beautiful beautyberry bush you'll never find this one. You are just looking for a regular cache out in the desert north of Mesquite, Nevada and there are no amethyst, lavender plants or beauthyberry bushes here. Please stash the container back where you found it. You will need an ATV, RZR or some other vehicle capable of negotiating the sandy wash to get to this one.
