Questo piccolo parco naturale, intitolato a Franco Totaro, si trova nel territorio comunale di Calvene, tra il torrente Astico e le pendici del monte Cavalletto. Si sviluppa attorno ad un piccolo corso d'acqua che scendendo dal monte crea delle magnifiche cascate e dei laghetti in mezzo al bosco. Al suo interno si possono trovare varie "opere d'arte naturali", un ponte tibetano e anche un percorso ferrato che risale le cascate destinato ai più coraggiosi e attrezzati. La bacheca illustrativa posta all'ingresso indica che il parco è in "fase di realizzazione" ed in effetti spesso le opere naturali vengono rimpiazzate o esposte per un periodo di tempo limitato (quest'estate ad esempio si poteva rimirare un fantastico lampadario sospeso sopra uno dei laghetti, di fronte ad una delle cascate più belle).
La cache è ben mimetizzata e per poterla stanare avrete bisogno di un po' di pazienza e occhio allenato. Alcune raccomandazioni: Non provare ad arrampicarsi sulla via ferrata senza l'adeguato equipaggiamento ed esperienza; per trovare la questa cache non è necessario arrampicarsi! Non toccate o manomettete i manufatti, la cache non è nascosta nemmeno li!
Ponte tibetano/Bridge
This small nature park, dedicated to Franco Totaro, is located in Calvene, between the river Astico and Mount Cavaletto. It is built around a small stream coming down from the mountain that creates magnificent waterfalls and lakes in the woods. Inside you can find various "natural artwork", a rope bridge and an equipped trail that climb the waterfalls designed for the bravest and equipped. The illustrative board at the entrance indicates that the park is "under construction" and in fact the natural works are often replaced or exposed for a limited time (for example, this summer you could appreciate a fantastic chandelier suspended over the water, in front of one of the most beautiful waterfalls).
The cache is well camouflaged and to be able find it out you'll need a little patience and trained eye. Some recommendations: do not touch or tamper the artifacts, the cache is not hidden near them! Do not try to climb the equipped trail without the proper equipment and experience; to find the this cache is not necessary to climb!
