Geocache Description:

Scatter Brained is exactly how I feel right now!

THE BACK STORY

Today Me and Mrs. PNWnerd set out to do some caching on an unexpected day off from the daily grind we call work.  We decided to head down towards Centralia via 507 from Olympia.  We got a few miles south of Bucoda when we came across a closed road due to the Skookumchuck River topping its banks.  We decided to continue our geocaching adventure and made the U-turn to head back towards Tenino and then head west towards Grand Mound.  As we were passing South Sound Speedway, we decided to make a quick detour to check out Scatter Creek and place a geocache that would help us to complete one of the current challenge we were working on.  Thurston County Thomas Guide Challenge. (GC3TGCF). We took the time to place the cache and take good coords so as to make it as easy a find for the fine folks in the Geocaching world.  We then continued on our geocaching date and managed to find ten more caches to help us on our quest to 1,000 before the end of 2015. Upon arriving home, I sat down to begin working on the cache description.  When I plugged the coords into the computer and compared them to the map page needed for the challenge, a sinking feeling spread over me.  I realized that we placed the geocache ON THE WRONG PAGE!!! Crushing defeat, but that sometimes happens in this game.  We decided to leave the cache where it was due to the lack of caches in this area and will go back to the drawing board and figure out where to place yet another cache.

A NEW SETBACK

So to add insult to injury, when I was working on writing the description to this cache, I went to try and add a picture.  Mistake!  When I did that, I lost the entire description that I had just wrote and failed to save.  Thus making me even more Scatter Brained than I already am.  So the name Scatter Brained really describes how this cache came together.

THE CACHE

Should be a simple park and grab located near a bridge crossing Scatter Creek.  Container is a small pill bottle and should be fairly obvious when you arrive at GZ.  There is a small pull out for one car.
