· CCC is grateful to the Geocaching Community for participating in our challenge
· We have just run out of coins--sorry we don't have more!
· We have some sizes of shirts left, and are taking a list for sizes we are missing in anticipation of making one more run of shirts
· We have placed a couple dozen passports in the first cache of the series (Entrance Garden) so people can obtain a passport over the weekend or after hours
· To obtain a prize, completed passports must be submitted to the ASG (Student Government) office in the Community Center during business hours (M-F, 8-5)
· Email caseys@clackamas.edu with any questions or cache maintenance issues
The CCC 2016 Geocache Challenge will launch on Saturday, May 21st, at 11:00 AM as part of this event. You may pick up your passport at the event or at the Associated Student Government office in the Community Center on the Oregon City campus after this event.
There are five geocaches hidden across all three CCC campuses – Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony. Start hunting now, as this is a limited-time challenge, ending Sept. 30. This challenge, which was made possible with a grant through the CCC Foundation, is offered to our community in celebration of the college’s 50th anniversary.
T-shirts (200+) will be awarded as prizes for those who complete the Oregon City caches, and custom coins (200 - produced in-house) will be awarded to those who complete the entire series.
Each cache has a metal plate with a word engraved on it. To document your “find,” you will need to do a rubbing of the code word on the corresponding page of the passport.
After the first day, pick up and submit passports at ASG in the Community Center building.
