This 130m long Pa site is the other of two artworks created by Regan Gentry to coincide with the opening of thr new Tauranga Eastern link motorway which runs from Bay Park to Paengaroa. Larger & simpler than the Spinifex it is nevertheless quite impressive traveling along the motorway
The cache is a magnetic key case containing log only.
One way to access this cache is by traveling on the motorway towards Mt Maunganui & taking the Domain Rd off ramp to Papamoa.There is safe parking at the bottom of the structure. As suggested by the first two logs there is an alternative which I did not explore (thankyou guys) Park at the substation entrance on the old highway to the west of the structure,S37 42.940 E176 17.015.An easy walk from there.
