L'arcipelago Li Galli è composto da 3 isole: Gallo Lungo, La Castelluccia e La Rotonda. Fa parte dell'area marina protetta di Punta Campanella.
Viene conosciuto anche con il nome Le Sirenuse perché seconda la legenda qui trovarono rifugio le sirene che facevano naufragare le navi. Solo 2 navi riuscirono salvarsi: quella di Ulisse e quella degli Argonauti. Il nome Li Galli invece viene dal modo in cui i greci descrivevano le sirene: metà donna, metà uccello.
I romani utilizzavano l'arcipelago come punto di ancoraggio. Negli anni '20 l'arcipelago viene acquisito dal ballerino e coreografo russo Leonide Massine. Poi un'altro ballerino russo, Rudolf Nureyev, diventa proprietario. Dopo la morte di quest'ultimo le isole sono comprate dall'imprenditore sorrentino Giovanni Russo.

Another name of this archipelago is Le Sirenuse because, according to the legend, here the sirens were wrecking the ships. Only two ships could be saved: that of Ulysses and that of the Argonauts. The name Li Galli instead comes from the way in which the Greeks described the sirens half woman, half bird.
The old romans used this archipelago for anchoring the ships. In the 20s the archipelago is acquired by the russian dancer and choreographer Leonide Massine. Then another russian dancer, Rudolf Nureyev, becomes owner. After the death of the latter the islands are bought by the entrepreneur Giovanni Russo.
