Geocache Description:

March 11, 2018. Coords are very bouncy in here. I have taken a new reading and adjusted the coords. They should get you much closer to ground zero.

Welcome to the 'Prime Ministers Trail Series'. Cache is a Peanut Butter Jar with lots of tradeable items

Collect the number from inside the cover of the log book in order to solve the semi-final: GC683D2 ‘Justin Trudeau’.

Please remember to trade equal, or trade up and make sure the cache is well hidden when you return it. Bring your own pen to sign the log. Parking has been waypointed in GC680XW (Sir John A. MacDonald)

Congratulations to foam follower on the FTF for the entire series... in the dark!

Series Overview (Identical for all caches)

The caches in this series are named after Canada’s Prime Ministers. The information gathered in each of them will enable you to find two ‘semi-final’ caches. The clues found in caches named after Conservative Prime Ministers will help you find GC683D8 ‘Stephen Harper’. Similarly, the Liberal clues will help you find GC683D2 ‘Justin Trudeau’. But like in any lame infomercial, THERE’S MORE! Solving the coordinates for each of the ‘final’ caches will allow you to solve for the ultimate final for the series: GC683CZ ‘The Governor General’!

----------------------------------------

This series of caches is meant to be completely apolitical/non-partisan. IF YOU HAVE STRONG POLITICAL OPINIONS PLEASE DO NOT EXPRESS THEM HERE. These caches have been placed as an opportunity to learn more about our nation’s history. It dawned on me that most Canadians probably know more about American Presidents or other foreign leaders than they do about our own Prime Ministers.

For example: you probably know that Winston Churchill was the British Prime Minister during WWII. Who was our PM during that time?

When JFK was assassinated, who was leading parliament in Canada?

It probably sounds familiar to read that Barack Obama is the 44th President of the USA. What number is Justin Trudeau on the list of Canadian Prime Ministers?

Even if you knew the answer to some or all of these questions, I hope you will learn something about our history while doing this series. Failing that, I know that you will enjoy hiking the Dundas Valley trail system! Happy Caching!
