Geocache Description:

Open your mind and you will discover what is hidden.

Once upon a time there was a private investigator named Mark who was working on a case which is the main focus of this story. As he entered his office he noticed a blue file sitting on the end of his desk with a note attached to it, that had the date on it which included the year 1873. The hand writing inside the file was sloppy as though a worm was dipped in ink and set free to squarm over it. The first page reads "Dear Mark, on your top shelf behind your desk is a journal with a song from a school play that my daughter performed in. Its a story told from the pages of a diary from a widowed store keeper named Mary Cook who's husband studied law and worked at the local bank in the town of Binding, Colorado. It was a small town mostly made of log cabins to match the surrounding wooded area in which it was located. Sorry if I'm getting lost in the memories like the pages in a Fairy Tale but the story always makes me feel as if I was there. Check in your Library, you'll find a manual with the title "Field Guide to becoming a Sketch Artist" in there you will find a bank check that will have a date on it. The number is the address to the old abandoned store at the end of town. Find the only floorboard with a blue mark on it, reach your hand underneath and you will discover why this story is so important in solving the case. The End

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
