Blue Mt. Lean-to Traditional Geocache

Blue Mountain Reservation, in Cortlandt Manor & Peekskill, has lovely ponds and streams, miles of beautiful trails,  even more miles of stone walls, cliffs and boulders, mountains and marshes, and hundreds of acres of wilderness.  This cache is in the wilderness, away from roads and trails, but near a stream and cliffs.

The medium-sized container is hidden in a natural lean-to next to a large cliff.   The difficulty and terrain levels are set fairly high due to the bushwhacking required.   Fortunately there are no bushes through which you must "whack".   There is a seasonal marsh which you should go around if you're navigating directly from the posted parking.   You can also access this from the main north-south trail through the southern part of Blue Mt.

The cache is initally stocked with a TB, glow stick, and some other knicknacks.   I doubt there is much risk of muggle activity, but please replace as found.
