大板山（おおいたやま）たたら製鉄遺跡は、県内最大級のたたらの遺跡であり、
江戸時代中期以降に萩藩内で展開されたたたらの典型例として、平成24年９月に国の史跡に指定されました。
入場は無料です。
ここの遺構の状態はとても良いので当時をイメージしやすいです。
出来れば常駐されているガイドさんに説明をしてもらうともっと楽しめると思います。
小さな場所ですが、せっかくこんな辺鄙な場所まで来られたのですからゆっくり鑑賞していってくださいね。
