barry54: Time to let this one go.
The area has degraded significantly since it was published and is now the sort of place I would not like to go searching.
As there is no other suitable hiding place nearby I’ve decided to archive it.
Thanks for all the interest over the last couple of years :)

Geocache Description:

A small clip-lock box hidden near one of the towns most distinctive landmarks.


The Water Tower at Whittlesey is one of the towns most distinctive landmarks. It stands tall alongside the A605 - the main route between Whittlesey and Peterborough.

Although unused for water for many years it still serves a useful purpose as a communications tower, having several mobile phone and microwave ariels on top.

 

 

 

The cache is a 750ml clip-lock box hidden not far away and is readily accessbile, but stealth my be required. Please replace carefully so it's both hidden and available to the next visitor.
