Old Sandwich Walk
Take a leisurely walk around historic and beautiful Sandwich,MA visiting 9 different sites to obtain a single number at each, then substitute the numbers for the letters in the formula below to construct the coordinates of the final physical cache located nearby. Everything is in plain view, no trickery. The virtual stages are laid out in a loop to take you on a tour and return you to your vehicle. You will pass by other places of interest with more just off the route. The path to the final is along wide well maintained trails, with just a bit of elevation at the end.

If you print out the page you can write down the numbers here as you go along. Once you have them all you can return to your car and drive a short distance to the final, or keep walking. Part 1 is an easy 1.4 mile loop along the town sidewalks. Each stage is basically a 1/1.5 but there are 9 of them so call it a 2/1.5 Part 2 is about a 2/2 except for the last 25 feet or so which is a little harder. It is about a three quarter mile round trip from the trailhead and back. (So a little over two miles for both parts, nothing too rugged. Reasonably kid friendly, if they like to hike, Only Part 1 is stroller friendly, though) No need to do it all at once if you don't wish to, If you walk the whole thing, add another mile and a half or so along quiet residential streets.
