A few years back I tagged along on one of my daughter's Girl Guide outings - an overnight trek through the Narawntapu National Park from Badger Head through to Bakers Beach.
One of the girls came up with an quirky way of pronouncing the park's name... Nana-want-a-poo. This got a few giggles from others and the name stuck.
I was recently driving through this spectacular area on Bowens Road - which leads to the national park - and came across this fitting location for a cache.
Well anyway... and you know where this is going... if nana's gotta go then she's gotta go, so I found her the perfect spot.
Enjoy the hunt, but please resist the urge to use the facilities.
One final word... there are those who may seek to take offence from a play on words of an Aboriginal name... I will simply say that it is not my intention to offend. The cache is just a bit of fun and reflects the innocence and creativity of a ten year old girl.
