Looking north from the Lost Point cache, atop a peak 2615 high is the Lost Point and Beyond cache. A short hike to the base, and then a steep vertical ascent to the peak which will take some careful analysis to find the safest way up.
Having discovered the Lost Point cache we observed the white object on the peak to the north. Since no one so far has been able to identify it we decided to climb up there and see what it was. Having reached the item we felt it would make a great virtual cache. It is an article of clothing, and in order to list it as a find you will have to give the brand name and size from the tag inside. To make sure your climb is not in vain if the tag should become removed by the elements, we left a pewter pendant tied with a strip of a bandana to a rock 3 feet below it. Let us know what the pendant is, or the number on it. Don't give this information on the cache log! E-mail us to confirm your find. Hope you have as much fun with this climb as we did. Watch for critters and loose rocks!!
