In 1996, the racecourse had been located this place. Another name of it was “Ougon Keibajo”(It means golden racecourse). The maximum difference in height of the course was 8.8 m. The reason of the incredible difference in height was that the course was made for training and bringing up war-horses originally. Now, the place is the public park. Please bring your pen.
１９９６年に現在の盛岡競馬場が使われるようになるまで、ここは競馬場でした。別名黄金競馬場と呼ばれ、高低差が8.8メートルもありました。異様とも言える高低差は元々軍馬を育成するために造られたからだそうです。現在は公園に作り直されて、隣接する高松池とともに市民の憩いの場となっています。筆記具を持参下さい。
