Geocache Description:


"Hey, what is the name of the cache?"

"Darude - Sandstorm"

Sandstorm is an Finnish instrumental trance composition released in 1999 by Darude, for his album"Before the Storm." The song was not the biggest hit in Australia (ie. it only reached to no. 40 on the charts), however it reached no. 1 in Norway. Here is a link to the song: (visit link)

However, the song is very famous now for a completely different reason. On a "League of Legends" Twitch video, the somewhat unknown song was used as background music, which lead to people asking - "what's the song name?" People, of course, responded with "Darude - Sandstorm." For some reason, this caused an internet joke so that whenever someones asks for the song name in any video, the response is always "Darude - Sandstorm." But what if this concept was used for geocaching? When creating this cache, I was asked what the name of the cache would be - "Darude - Sandstorm" was my response!

This cache is hidden on the edge of the Mill Creek Oval in Narrabundah. There is parking very close by, meaning that this should be a very quick and easy find. Just make sure that you are aware of muggles on the oval, both playing, spectating and walking past. The container is a small sistema container with a logbook, pen and swaps - thanks Sol de Lune! Feel free to do some CITO around here if you have some time.
