About the Container
You are looking for a small black container on a hanger. The container is too small to hold most travel bugs or trade items. Please bring your own pen.
The container should be held up out of sight with a magnet. If you find it dangling where it would be visible to people passing by, please put it back where it belongs.
About the Location
This geocache is on the bridge right next to the bike path. There is no need to go down by the water. It is not necessary to go over the fence or do anything the slightest bit dangerous. You will be visible to people on the path for a long way in both directions, so stealth is required.
The container is accessible from a wheelchair. It's possible to get to the location in a chair but keep in mind that it's not a park-and-grab. You would have to go about two tenths of a mile from the parking space.
Down below you is the Milwaukee River. The bridge is part of the old Chicago & North Western rail line. When this section of the Oak Leaf Trail opened the bridge was still covered with graffiti. The county painted it gray in 2016.

About the Series
The cache is part of the Oak Leaf Trail series. For information about the whole series, including tips about how to plan your approach, please see the listing for Oak Leaf Trail 01.
Parking
It is possible to park about 200 feet from this cache at N 43° 06.819 W 087° 55.360 on East Edgewater Lane, but I think the city blocks off the road with barricades for the winter and part of the spring. It's very convenient if the road is open and you only want to catch a couple of caches in the middle of the series.
Otherwise, a safer bet is near Oak Leaf Trail 11. Please read that cache page for more details.
Permission
Permission to place this geocache was granted by the Milwaukee County Parks Department. Permit 508.
