Who am I ... (Episode I) Mystery Cache

Episode One of a Mystery Cache series dealing with famous or legendary people. At the given coords you won't find any container, solve first the riddle in order to get the correct final coords. The container is microsized and holds only a logbook - BYOP.

1. I'm a retired European sportsman like already my father was. No need to give further details about the sport I practiced... (just have a look around at the fictive starting point of this mystery).
2. My first name (given name) counts 8 letters and my family name (surname) counts 5 letters - very often my first name was used a in short form counting only 5 letters.
3. My position in the game was "striker"and in my senior career I had more than 560 domestic league appearances. I played during my active senior career for 3 different clubs in my home country whereof 14 years for "my club", whose captain (in those days) enjoys still today cult status. I had also short appearances in 3 different foreign leagues.

5. I never won a national championship title but I won 3 different major Cup titles at the age of 22, 23 and 24 years - at national, European and international level.
6. At the top of my career my team manager rejected a huge transfer bid from a top team by a 6 word telegraph.
7. I was also selected to the National team and participated at 2 international tournaments at top level.
8. On the day after my legendary hat-trick that made history, when every reporter and photographer wanted a piece of me, I was mowing the lawn at home.
9. My greatest success goes back more than 35 years in time and on that day we wore red jerseys.

1. Ich bin ein ehemaliger europäischer Sportler (z.Zt. im Ruhestand), wie bereits mein Vater. Ich glaube es ist nicht weiter notwendig näheres zu meinem Sport zu verraten ... (ein Blick auf den fiktiven Ausgangspunkt des Mysteries müsste reichen).
2. Mein Vorname zählt 8 Buchstaben und mein Nachname 5 Buchstaben - sehr oft wurde mein Vorname in einer Kurzform benutzt, der lediglich 5 Buchstaben zählt.
3. Ich war "Stürmer" und während meiner aktiven Laufbahn, bestritt ich mehr als 560 Ligaspiele. Während meiner aktiven Laufbahn spielte ich für 3 verschiedene Vereine in meinem Heimatland, wovon allein 14 Jahre für "meinen Verein", dessen damaliger Spielführer (Kapitän) heute noch Kultstatus besitzt. Ich hatte ebenfalls kurze Auftritte in 3 verschiedenen ausländischen Ligen.
4. Die Fans der Eisernen (Irons) nannten mich "Kugelfisch" wegen meiner Gewohnheit, meine Wangen aufzublasen, wenn ich ...
5. Ich habe nie einen nationalen Meistertitel gewonnen, aber 3 große Pokalerfolge im Alter von 22, 23 und 24 Jahren errungen – dies auf nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene.
6. Auf dem Höhepunkt meiner Karriere, lehnte mein damaliger Team-Manager ein enormes Transferangebot eines Topvereins mit einem 6-Worte-Telegramm ab.
7. Ich wurde auch in die Nationalmannschaft berufen und nahm an 2 internationalen Turnieren auf höchstem Niveau teil.
8. Am Tag nach meinem legendären Hattrick, der auch in die Geschichtsbücher enging, als jeder Reporter und Fotograf mich jagte, mähte ich zu Hause den Rasen.
9. Mein größter Erfolg liegt mehr als 35 Jahre zurück und am besagten Tag trugen wir rote Trikots.

2. Mon prénom compte 8 lettres et mon nom de famille 5 lettres - souvent mon prénom a été utilisé sous une forme courte ne comptant que 5 lettres.
3. Dans le jeu, j’étais « attaquant » et dans ma carrière, j’ai disputé plus de 560 matchs de championnat nationaux. Je jouais au cours de ma carrière active pour 3 clubs différents dans mon pays d'origine et 14 ans pour « mon club », dont son capitaine à l'époque jouit encore aujourd'hui d’un statut de culte. Je faisais aussi de courtes apparitions dans 3 championnats étrangers.
4. Les supporters des « sidérurgistes » (Irons) m'ont appelé « poisson-globe » de mon habitude de gonfler mes joues lorsque je ...
5. Je n’ai jamais remporté un titre de champion national, cependant j’ai remporté 3 titres de vainqueur de la Coupe, à l'âge de 22, 23 et 24 ans – et cela au niveau national, européen et international.
6. Au sommet de ma carrière, le dirigeant de mon club a rejeté une énorme offre de transfert d'une équipe de haut niveau par un télégramme de 6 mots.
7. J’étais également sélectionné dans l'équipe nationale et j’ai participé à 2 tournois internationaux du plus haut niveau.
8. Le lendemain de mon légendaire hat-trick qui a écrit son chapitre dans l'histoire, lorsque chaque journaliste et photographe me guettait, je tondais la pelouse à la maison.
9. Mon plus grand succès remonte à plus de 35 ans et ce jour-là nous avons porté des maillots rouges.
