Geocache Description:

P&G near Low Water Bridge in Litchfield. Bridge does flood, but crossing is not required for cache.

This cache is near an old low water train tressel that has been the sight of teenage hangouts, spray painting, senior pictures, etc. for as long as I can remember. Though trains rarely use this bridge, it is still used, so be careful when around the actual tressel. Cache is not near the bridge.

Dec. 2015 the area and surrounding parts recieved record breaking amounts of rain. Memes went out on social media deeming our area the "Great Lake of the Midwest" on a United States map. Residents were evacuated from homes near major area waterways, such as Shoal Creek near Joplin and Spring River near Riverton and Galena. At least 10 people lost their lives.

The photos attached are of the bridge Wednesday, Dec. 30th, after the water had subsided enough to drive.

Congrats to topgun5403 & Co-Pilot Marty
