Shiver me timbers, a band of pirates led by the notorious Captain Tsotsi has been spotted using this unmarked island in the river.
The island was chosen as their treasure hide as it is protected by the river for most of the year and inaccessible by boat. Only during the summer months when the river is low and the hidden bridge to the island is exposed will you will be able to get to this island. The best time of the year is roughly end of August to December. The other months will see the river level too high. I have added two waypoints that show the general location of the hidden bridge. If you cannot see an obvious way to the island then please don't try it as the river is probably not low enough. It's a pretty large area so it will be obvious where the crossing point is, there will be no water at all. The crossing point is at a fishing spot where you are allowed to get out your vehicle. Be careful of the usual suspects, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and pirates!!!.
