I was out in the area doing some maintenance on my nearby cache and decided I should place another out in this area. I can't wait to place a few more out here.
This cache will take you to what remains of a house that was abandoned years ago. Only the foundation, a fire pit and the garden remain.
I placed this cache during the winter and was able to walk fairly easily through nearly a foot of snow. Those trying this cache in the winter may have more fun with snowshoes or cross-country skis.
This cache is laying on the ground so you may have to move some snow in the winter to uncover it.
Make sure to bring a pen to sign the log, as there is no room for one inside the cache.
