Part of the NYPL Geocache series, which spreads across the entire city! Geocachers who have found at least 4 NYPL caches are eligible for a Level 1 bronze pathtag! Geocachers who find at least 8 NYPL caches are eligible for a Level 2 silver pathtag! And any geocachers that have found 12 or more NYPL caches are eligible for the Level 3 GOLD pathtag as well! Stage 1 was DESTROYED by a car accident, and subsequently removed. Rather than starting in Historic Tappen Park, you will start (and finish) inside of the beautiful Stapleton Branch of the New York Public Library. You should visit the reference section for more information.
Stapleton is home to myriad locations of social and historical import, but you will be focused on only two of them for this cache. You will start in Historic Tappen Park and end in the Stapleton Branch of the New York Public Library, one of the original Carnegie libraries.
This is a field puzzle, using physical components that are provided for you on site. While this cache was placed with permission from the library staff, stealth is still a must.
