Geocache Description:

Cope Park is a nice park to visit for locals and visitors alike with a great view of historical Gold Creek. The area to the south of the cache is a mature forest of Sitka Spruce and Hemlock trees. Trees near the cache include Alder and Cottonwood. The cache is a large pill container. It is big enough for small travel bugs. Park closes at 10 pm, patrolled regularly.

This cache was originally placed by a wonderful young lady who fought muscle cancer gallantly. She played high school and club soccer with my daughter. She passed in April 2016. Many special people leave us far too soon.

May 2017 - location of cache moved closer to the creek...not in.
