A short walk along an unoffical trail from the wonderful Deer Flat campsite. Great place to stay a night in the right conditions and plenty of trails to try in the Lewis Pass area.
You'll need to pick up the trail near the river from the campsites at the carpark and follow it approximately 50m into the bush. The cache is not visible from any distance, and is at ground level in a wee hole/ depression
