Geocache Description:

My first event! Woot! With Leap Year happening in 2016, and the chance to gain a new souvenir, I though only fitting to host my first event to bring those who happen to be in the downtown area, be it for work or pleasure, to get together to share stories of caching in the Bay Area, and to get acquainted with one another. I first started caching on January 15, 2015, and since then have met so many cool cachers. Events are where I first met those who I could only put a cache handle to, and to develop friendships that persist today inside and outside of geocaching.

Working in SOMA (South of Market Area) for the past 10+ years, I've been in the middle of technological innovation. So I invite you to come and experience the theme of our local Mega-Event of the year, Cachin' the Bay, by seeing what a startup tech environment is like.

12:30p to 1:00p

Talk about your geocaching goals for 2016, share trackables, exchange stories, and to see what startup life is like in the city we know and love. I'll be waiting for you at the elevator on the 5th floor as you can help yourself for free snacks and drinks. There will be a special prize for the cacher that has found and conquered the most Taryam tree climbs! See what the current standings are HERE
