Geocache Description:

This location is best visited around dusk as it will give you a fantastic experience of the millions of flying foxes as they take flight heading north to their feeding grounds. The cache is night friendly with a marker visable by torchlight. You can also visit during the day and listen to the flying foxes squabling and chatting with each other.

A very easy walk from the old Tolga Railway Station. You can park at the Tolga Pub if you are short of time. This cache is placed on the newly created Atherton Tablelands Rail Trail which was the old railway converted to a walking, bike riding and horse riding trail. As it was a railway, the surface and gradient is very easy. The cache is just off the trail but easily accessable. Not wheel-chair accessable.
