As you have made the effort to trek up to this point, I urge you to continue further round the track towards Castle Campbell (closed Thursday & Friday). From there you can continue on and explore the wonders of Dollar Glen.
From The National Trust Website:
Leading from the historic town of Dollar to the magnificent 15th-century Castle Campbell then on to the Ochil Hills, Dollar Glen is the perfect place for a Scottish countryside walk.
Dollar Glen has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its range of wildlife habitats and important geological features. The whole area is a haven for wildlife, and the scenery is spectacular: two evocatively named burns – the Burn of Care and the Burn of Sorrow – rush through deep gorges on either side of the lushly wooded glen, tumbling into waterfalls in places
I have provided 2 parking suggestions but The National Trust advises on their website: Due to the condition of the access road we do not advise visitors to drive beyond the woodland ‘quarry’ car park on Castle Road. The terrain rating is based on walking from the lower 'quarry' car park
Apologies for only placing a micro. I wanted to hide something secure that wouldn't easily fall out of place or cause litter with swaps etc. as the surrounding area is an SSSI .
