The Green Man in Grantchester is the venue for this month's Happening event. The pub is very easy to find, as it's right in the centre of the village. Expect the usual geochatter over a pint or two -- and there are quite a few standalone caches and trails in the area if you wish to come early and get a few finds in.
The event runs from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Attendance for the entire duration is certainly not required, of course, although Ben (benjw1) will be there throughout, so feel free to turn up at any time. We have "the big table in the window" booked for us -- or look for the excitingly-coloured The Happening Ammo Box on our table.
The pub also serves food from 6pm until 9pm. A menu is available on the pub website. The pub is very happy to deal with handfuls of food orders at a time throughout the evening, but suggests that if we want to order food for ten or more people at a time, it would be best to pre-order to help speed up service on the night. No need to do this just yet, but if the number of "will attends" grows enough that this looks it will be necessary (and I'll be delighted if it does!), I will contact attendees to advise.
It would therefore be helpful for planning if you could put in your log (assuming your plans are known) how many people will be coming and at what time, and whether you will want to order food. Thank you.
