Dome Rock Traditional Cache
JustFindingOurWay: Turns out most folks aren't finding this one and it doesn't meet the standards of the expert from the Midwest so I'll archive it.

Every year, a growing group of Fiberglas Trailer aficionados gather in the shadow of Dome Rock for a few days of meeting, greeting, sharing notes on modifications, and dreaming. This cache is placed a bit above where many folks hike each winter, looking for a view over the expanse of RVs in the desert around Quartzsite. It's a steep, rocky climb, but those that search it out will have a great view as their reward.
The cache is a plastic bottle wrapped in appropriate camo tape in a crevice under a boulder, hiding behind what might be a suspicious pile of rocks. There is a log in a micro container inside as well as a couple pencils and some bugs. There is a custom keychain for the First to Find. The cache is very near the top of the mountain's shoulder, about 20 feet or so from where the caprock begins.
I recommend hiking from the suggested parking to the upper mining ledge and then route finding from there. Watch out for mine shafts and all those desert things that want to bite, pinch, or poke you.
