This cache is located near JC Family Church a local church for families in Jimboomba. We have gained permission to place this cache where it is and no access to private property is required. The cache is located well outside the property perimeter.
JC Family Church is a local AOG church in Jimboomba with many programs for both children and adults. This church is home to the Quilting Queens of Jimboomba, Friday friends, Fusion youth, and Creation cottage. Each year JC Family run and organise the local Jimboomba Christmas carols in November.
Their mission is to be a large, healthy, vibrant, family church impacting communities for Christ, both locally and globally. Church services are on at 9:30am every Sunday morning, as well as 6pm every Sunday night.
The Quilting Queens of Jimboomba are a group of ladies who meet weekly on a Tuesday from 9:30am - 2:30pm to make quilts for the girls at the Sandra Jones Children's Centre in Zimbabwe and trauma quilts for foster children in their local area. They aim to raise money to send quilts to the children of the Sandra Jones Childrens Centre in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The quilts are an important part of the healing process for girls who have been sexually abused in their home situation. The Centre also provides a home for babies who have been abandoned.
Friday Friends is a women's connecting group, providing time out for coffee, craft and excursions. This group can also assist by referring onto other programs where needed. The group meets from 9:30am - 12:30pm on Friday, excluding school holidays.
JC Fusion Youth is a youth group for high school kids aged between 12 and 17. They meet every second Saturday night from 6pm.
Creation Cottage is located on the church grounds and is open from 9am-2pm Thursdays & Fridays.
Outside of the hours listed above for the various groups the church is generally not open to the public. If you happen to discover this cache within any of the times or days listed, why not drop into the church and check out the great work people in the community are doing to help others.
The cache you are looking for is a small metal container camoflagued well so please replace as found once you have signed the log. There is no room for large swaps within this container, but small trackables may fit in. The hide is located outside the property barrier along a main road so please use stealth when searching for and retrieving the cache.
Watch out for the friendly cache guardian and please don't try and remove the cache guardian from the cache so that others may enjoy this cache as well. And above all........Enjoy the hunt!
