Geocache Description:

Watermead Wetlands 3 can be found in the quiet Lakeside village of Watermead as the title suggests and can be done as part of a three part multi cache.

*Please note... This cache is not suitable for children. I take no resposibility for other peoples actions! Certain clothing may be necisary in some cases and the cache is not possible by simply walking. Expect the unexpected. real determination will be needed.



Update, 2nd December '03: Cache missing once again, will be replanted in Summer '04, how annoying! :O

Update, 18th May '03: WETLANDS 3 IS BACK! with a new name & a new cache box, which with any luck will not vanish this time around. After 'Andybug' made a comment like this: 'Thought you might have put a new cache box there by now.' what else could I do but get straight out there! The new container is a specially designed splash box which is waterproof & tied well above water level to a tree within a meter of the duck house. If you visit please do not try & remove it, simply open it up (it opens in the style of an ammo box) dry yours hands as best you can & sign in. The cache on replanting also contained a brand new travel bug 'Frankinsnarl'. This time around I have photos to prove that its there so it's egg on anyones face who doubted me!

When I first began caching this location was the very first I came up with as a possible hiding place. Ever since I have planned to plant a cache on this site. Unlike Watermead Wetlands 1 & 2, which are planted on footpaths number 3 takes a big step into the unknown. Please click an image to enlarge it...


Good Luck. If you complete this cache and sign the log book you really will be an expert cacher. The Log book will be checked so no cheating please :) However, this cache can also be completed by posting a photo of yourself at the cache location. This means that if the cache ever gets removed without my knowing and you visit you may still log it aslong as you have proof of your visit.
