This is the first cache on the trail section between the Highway 101 crossing and Cape Falcon. It is at the trailhead. There is a good place to park across the highway and 300 feet north. The pullout there is also the continuation of the trail to Arch Cape.
Note that this is the longest of the four sections of Cape Falcon caches. It is a serious hike (about 5.25 miles). Please don't attempt the entire distance unless you are well prepared.
Arranging a shuttle between this point and the Cape Falcon Trailhead, then hiking both sections, would make for a terrific day of hiking. The highway distance between the two point is about 2.3 miles.
