Geocache Description:

This cache is the second in a series of mysteries that we will be hiding around the Ames area. The series will contain a total of 13 caches; twelve of these will be about individual books and the last one will be a challenge that requires smilies on the rest of the series to get credit for finding. I have fun plans for the final so I hope people will enjoy the series! Chloe and I both enjoy reading in our spare time and this series is a way to share some of our favorite reads with you. Hopefully this series encourages others to read, however we are both aware with the internet it is quite easy to accomplish these caches with some insightful googling.

This second installment is a bit more intense of a book selection than cache number one. We hope to address a variety of genres that pleases a large number of geocachers. Without further delay below is the quiz and puzzle for Slaughterhouse-five by Kurt Vonnegut (The title of the cache has a character limit so unfortunately I couldn't fit the entire thing in there!

The cache is not at the listed coordinates! The listed coordinates are where I would recommend parking! It is a decent hike to the cache location so I would recommend good hiking shoes! Cache is winter friendly and make sure to take in some of the beautiful sites on your way to the container. Below are a series of questions with all numerical answers concerning Slaughterhouse-five. Then below the questions is a math equation to award you the coordinates you so rightfully deserve! Hopefully the additional paranthesis removes most of the order of operations shenanigans and it should be a fairly straightforward plug and math!

I received a set of 6 geoswag stones in my stocking this year that are pretty high quality untrackable souvenirs. I have put one of these in the cache as a prize for the FTFer. I also put a TB in there to start things off. Plenty of room for trackables and tradeables in the cache!
